Solar Powered Attic Fans

On a hot day in the Houston area the outside temperature can be 95 degrees and your attic temperature can exceed 125 degrees. Attic fans powered by the sun can be a great addition to your ventilation system on your home or business.

By removing the extreme hot air from your attic space your air conditioning system does not have to work as hard. In turn this can lengthen the life of your air conditioning system and reduce your energy bills.

Radiant Barrier

Radiant barrier products come in many forms.  One form is offered in a roof shingle, on the surface of the shingle itself.  Radiant barrier is also available as a product that is installed at the time of a roof replacement. It is a product that is rolled on and secured to the roof decking directly under the composition shingles.

Should plywood decking need to be replaced or put on the home for the first time, plywood with a radiant barrier surface can be installed on the roof.  Additional systems are available for installation in attics. They range from blanket systems to various spray on systems.
